On June 26, 2026, the National Bank of Ukraine launched a consultation on amendments to regulatory legal acts that regulate the disclosure of banking secrecy, payment service provider secrecy and financial secrecy. The draft provides for updating the procedure for banks to disclose information constituting banking secrecy by bringing the Rules for the Storage, Protection, Use and Disclosure of Banking Secrecy into line with updated legislative requirements, as well as unifying the norms regarding the procedure for the National Bank to obtain confidential information from persons supervised by it. The amendments are proposed to be made to the following regulations~: Rules for the Storage, Protection, Use and Disclosure of the Secrecy of the Payment Service Provider . Financial Service Confidentiality Regulations . Comments and feedback are welcome up until July 6, 2026.
