On June 16, 2026, the Czech Republic's Ministry of Finance, Department of Procedural Agenda and Gambling Regulation, announced the expiration and replacement of digital certificates for the non-production environment of the Remote Gambling Operations System (RVO Playground). The qualified digital signature certificate expires on June 30, 2026, while the Transport Layer Security (TLS) signature certificate expires on July 2, 2026. In accordance with the Complete Technical Specification of the Information System for Operating Gambling Games and its Annex 3 on Non-Production Environment Access and Operational Information, the Ministry of Finance publishes new certificates issued by certification authority I.CA. The updated TLS signature certificates are valid until January 1, 2027, while the new qualified digital signature certificates for electronic sealing are valid until June 11, 2027. These certificates replace previous versions that expired on various dates between December 2021 and July 2025. All certificates are available for download from the Ministry's website. Gambling operators must deploy the new certificates to the non-production RVO environment by June 29, 2026. From that date forward, operators are required to use the updated certificates provided in this announcement. The Ministry of Finance has made both TLS and qualified signature certificate files available for download to ensure operators can implement the necessary changes before the expiration dates. This update affects all entities operating gambling games through the RVO system and utilizing the non-production testing environment.
