On June 15, 2026, the European Council published Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1333, amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, in the Official Journal of the European Union. The Decision introduces a new temporary derogation from the asset freeze and the prohibition on making funds or economic resources available to a designated entity, allowing for the wind-down of operations, contracts and other agreements concluded with that entity and for industry purchases of critical components manufactured by that entity. The regulation enters into force immediately.
