On May 6, 2026, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued the 2026 Risk Assessment Questionnaire (RAQ) to support its risk-based oversight approach and examination planning activities. The RAQ collects information that enables the OSC to make evidence-based regulatory decisions regarding its registrants. All registrants who were active as of December 31, 2025 must complete and submit the RAQ through the OSC's Electronic Filing Portal by June 17, 2026. The OSC is providing support resources to assist registrants, including a Frequently Asked Questions document, a User Guide, a PDF version of the RAQ for reference, and a list of OSC contacts available to provide assistance. An outreach webinar is scheduled for May 14, 2026 to help registrants complete the questionnaire. Registrants who did not receive the RAQ should contact the OSC immediately at [email protected]. The RAQ submission deadline is June 17, 2026. Registrants are encouraged to attend the outreach webinar on May 14, 2026 for guidance on completing the questionnaire.
