Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Banking Agency Publishes Instructions on Inquiry Submission Procedures

On April 14, 2026, the Agencija za Bankarstvo Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine (Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) published Instructions on the manner of submitting inquiries to the agency and the agency's procedures for handling inquiries. The Instructions establish a unified, transparent, and efficient procedure for submitting inquiries to the Banking Agency and for processing inquiries relating to the application and interpretation of regulations and other acts within the agency's jurisdiction. The Instructions apply to banks, non-deposit financial institutions (microfinance organisations, leasing and factoring companies), and other institutions under the agency's supervision, as well as their professional associations. The provisions also apply, as appropriate, to other natural and legal persons who contact the agency, depending on the nature of the inquiry submitted. The Instructions regulate the method of submitting inquiries to the Banking Agency and establish how the agency will process received inquiries. This standardisation aims to enhance clarity and consistency in the agency's interactions with regulated entities and the public. The Instructions are available on the Banking Agency's official website in the Publications section.
