Στην έκθεση παρουσιάζεται το σύνολο των δράσεων της Επιτροπής κατά το έτος 2025, η συμβολή της στην επίτευξη ασφαλούς, διαφανούς και βιώσιμου περιβάλλοντος διεξαγωγής των τυχερών παιγνίων και η έμφαση στην αξιοποίηση της τεχνολογίας ως σημαντικό μέσο ενίσχυσης της εποπτικής και ελεγκτικής λειτουργίας της ΕΕΕΠ. Ο Πρόεδρος της Βουλής επεσήμανε την ανάγκη για ιδιαίτερη μέριμνα και την προστασία των παικτών και της κοινωνίας ευρύτερα, ειδικότερα δε των ανήλικων και των ευάλωτων ομάδων του πληθυσμού, καθώς επίσης και την προστασία του δημοσίου συμφέροντος από τον παράνομο στοιχηματισμό. Από την πλευρά του ο Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής ανέλυσε τη νέα στρατηγική της ΕΕΕΠ και την ανάγκη ενίσχυσης του θεσμικού ρόλου της Επιτροπής σε ένα περιβάλλον που μεταβάλλεται και αναπτύσσεται διαρκώς, λόγω και των τεχνολογικών ραγδαίων εξελίξεων στην αγορά τυχερών παιγνίων. Ο Πρόεδρος της Βουλής θα διαβιβάσει την Έκθεση προς ενημέρωση στην Επιτροπή Θεσμών και Διαφάνειας της Βουλής για περαιτέρω ανάλυση και συζήτηση των ευρημάτων.
