The announcement highlighted several recent winners across Georgia Lottery's portfolio of games. Two players won a combined $150,000 in the July 11 Powerball drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball, with one player doubling their prize to $100,000 through the 2X Power Play multiplier. Two additional players each won $62,500 in the July 10 Fantasy 5 drawing, while a Flowery Branch player won $150,000 in the July 12 Fantasy 5 drawing through the Georgia Lottery mobile app. A Kennesaw player won $92,000 playing Keno! on July 10, also via the mobile app. Other winners included a Lawrenceville player who won $7,500 in the July 10 Millionaire for Life drawing and an Atlanta player who won $10,000 playing the Georgia Wild Star MEGA Multiplier Diggi Game on July 10. At the time of the announcement, the Monday Powerball jackpot had reached an estimated $478 million (with a $212.2 million cash option), while the Tuesday Mega Millions jackpot stood at an estimated $637 million (with a $278 million cash option).
Georgia Lottery players have 180 days from the draw date to claim Mega Millions and Powerball prizes.
