De Ksa is van mening dat 711 dat in de periode februari 2022 tot en met juni 2024 onvoldoende heeft gedaan en legt de aanbieder daarom een boete op van €886.000. De Ksa onderzocht de uitvoering van de zorgplicht door 711 door tien spelersdossiers op te vragen van mensen die hoge verliezen leden, een hoog aantal dagen gokten en ’s nachts inzetten. In alle dossiers trof de Ksa overtredingen aan. 711 analyseerde het speelgedrag van gebruikers niet goed en nam niet de juiste maatregelen om in te grijpen. Hierdoor kon het gokgedrag van spelers uit de hand lopen, wat bij sommige spelers tot aanzienlijke verliezen kon leiden.
