TITLE: California Gambling Control Commission Schedules Meeting to Consider Annual Fees and Advertising Regulations

On May 4, 2026, the California Gambling Control Commission (CGCC) will hold a public meeting to consider and adopt proposed regulatory amendments concerning annual fees and advertising standards for gambling operators in California.
The meeting will address two primary regulatory matters. First, the CGCC will receive and deliberate on public comments regarding the 2026 update to annual fees, with final adoption of amendments to Title 4, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 18, Sections 12092 and 12094. Second, the Commission will consider the second 15-day written public comments and proceed to final adoption of regulations concerning advertising, which involves amending Sections 12002 and 12461 and adopting new Sections 12095, 12097, 12098, and 12099 of Title 4, CCR, Division 18.
The meeting will convene at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in person at multiple California locations: the Ronald Reagan State Building in Sacramento, the Milton Marks Conference Center in San Francisco, and the Judicial Council of California in Los Angeles. Public participation is strongly encouraged via Zoom videoconference, with dial-in telephone options also available. The Commission will also conduct closed sessions to address litigation matters, hearing deliberations, and personnel matters in accordance with the Bagley-Keene Act.
