TITLE: Denmark's Financial Supervisory Authority Issues Enforcement Order to Pluto.markets for Misleading Marketing BODY: On April 8, 2026, Finanstilsynet (Denmark's Financial Supervisory Authority) issued an enforcement order to Pluto.markets Fondsmæglerselskab A/S regarding misleading marketing practices and deficient business operations. The authority found that Pluto.markets promoted its investment platform through a podcast without implementing adequate controls over its marketing partner. The enforcement order requires Pluto.markets to ensure that all information in its marketing materials concerning investment services is clear and not misleading. Additionally, the firm must establish and maintain sufficient processes and governance documentation for marketing activities to guarantee that all marketing communications are not misleading. These measures must be implemented to bring the firm into compliance with investor protection requirements and ensure proper oversight of third-party marketing arrangements.
