TITLE: California Gambling Control Commission Schedules Meeting to Adopt Advertising Regulations

On April 13, 2026, the California Gambling Control Commission (CGCC) will hold a public meeting to consider final adoption of regulations concerning advertising. The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in person at multiple locations across California, including Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, with virtual participation available via Zoom.
The primary agenda item involves the receipt and consideration of public comments on proposed amendments to Title 4, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 18, Sections 12002 and 12461, and the adoption of new Sections 12095, 12097, 12098, and 12099. The CGCC will deliberate on second 15-day written public comments before proceeding to final adoption of the advertising regulations. This represents the final stage of the regulatory process for these advertising provisions.
The meeting will also include a closed session to discuss multiple ongoing litigation matters involving the CGCC, including cases brought by Lucky Chances, Inc., the California Gaming Association, and other parties. Additionally, the Commission will conduct hearing deliberations on key employee license applications for Kevin Paul West and Dariel Sanchez, and will address personnel matters in closed session.
