TITLE: Ukraine's National Bank Revokes Financial Company Licences Due to Tarnished Business Reputation BODY: On March 24, 2026, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) revoked the licences of LLC "FK 'LIBERTY FINANCE'" (registration number 39806926) following a determination that the company's business reputation was not impeccable. The NBU revoked two licences: the licence to operate as a financial company providing credit services and banking metals, and the licence to conduct currency operations involving cash trading of foreign currency values. The decision followed an earlier determination on November 24, 2025, that the company's business reputation was impeccable. The NBU found that the company had engaged in unlicensed activity by providing services with characteristics of financial payment services without proper licensing or registration. Additionally, the company's substantial owner and management were identified as having tarnished business reputations. On October 9, 2025, the NBU had already prohibited LLC "FK 'LIBERTY FINANCE'" and related parties from providing financial payment services through internet services "KIT Group". The licence revocation decision was adopted by the Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Non-Banking Financial Services Markets on March 23, 2026. The administrative act becomes effective upon notification to the institution through methods specified under Ukrainian administrative procedure law, including postal delivery or electronic mail to the company's registered address. The revocation represents enforcement action against the financial company for operating beyond the scope of its authorised activities and maintaining connections to individuals with questionable business credentials.
